Feng Shui wealth area is the place that attracts wealth and money. Decorate it with old Chinese coins and other symbols of money for attracting wealth.

If a Feng Shui practitioner is willing to become richer, the first thing to do is to enhance Feng Shui wealth area of the house. Usually Chi to this Feng Shui zone is attracted with a help of something that symbolizes money. This can be a money tree, an aquarium with 8 golden and 1 black fish or a vase with old Chinese coins.

Old Feng Shui Coins as Symbols of Money and Wealth

Not any item can symbolize wealth and prosperity. Modern paper bills, for instance, do not carry any meaning except for the fraction of nation’s wealth you have available in the pocket. However, in ancient China everything was different.

The state had gold, silver and copper coins. As soon as paper money was invented, old coins became a powerful charm that is supposed to both protect their owner from financial problems and attract wealth and luck in business.

Such a tradition is not an exclusive invention of the Chinese culture. Many other cultures used coins as lucky charms. Coins were frequently used for making earrings, necklaces and bracelets, or for decorating clothes. Their clanging was believed to scare away evil spirits.

Old Chinese coins are even handier for such purposes – they already have a square hole in the center. Furthermore, they are believed to be a very good Feng Shui symbol for attracting and activating the energy of wealth.

However, do not give used coins to anyone as a gift. Only unused coins should be presented to those whom you wish wealth and prosperity.

Active Chi can be attracted to the wealth area if attributes of wealth are kept in it. These can be, for example, money, jewelry, a collection of paintings or old coins.

Any live plant with round leaves, thus, symbolizes money and wealth. It is better if such a plant is bought and brought home when it’s already large. Take a good care of the plant so that the leaves don’t wilt and fall off. The growth of the plant symbolizes symbolized growth of wealth, while falling leaves represent financial problems and loss of income. A sapling grown by oneself represents financial recovery after a period of hardships.

Round items made of metal or pained golden or silver color also attract luck in financial affairs. A round vase with a few coins may be placed onto an office desk.

Not only coins can symbolize wealth. The wealth area of a dining room or a kitchen can be decorated with, for instance, a dish with "golden" fruit – oranges and tangerines.

In general, nearly any item can be a representation of money. The only rule is that the owner should associate that item with money. However, there is an opinion that the most powerful lucky charms are ancient. In addition, such things should resemble coins.
