Do UFOs Prove Aliens' Existence? - Tama Leaver
Many people think that existence of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) proves existence of aliens and their presence of the Earth. Do UFOs really prove it?

It has been many decades since people started wondering whether what they call UFOs is a representation of an extraterrestrial civilization. However, videos and pictures displaying strange flying objects are not likely to act as a persuasive proof of these flying objects’ being from outside the Earth.

Since there is not enough evidence to prove the claim, neither of the ufologists or official army representatives has ever confirmed that what people call an UFO comes from extraterrestrial world. In many cases what humans claim to be an aircraft of aliens appears to be a military aircraft.

Government and Scientists Don’t Confirm Aliens’ Existence

The CIA confirms that most of “the UFOs reported in the 1950s and 1960s were really American spy planes” (Patton, 2009). So, people just don’t understand what in particular they see when the newest military aircraft flies over their heads. In addition, there is no physical evidence that would signify the arrival of aliens to the planet.

While hundreds of people claim to have seen an UFO or even have had some contact with the aliens, there is no real evidence to prove their words except for oral testimonials and blurry pictures and videos. People believe in what they want to believe and, as a result, present the pictures of lens flares, or of something they saw but didn’t understand, as a proof of the existence of aliens.

Based on such testimonials, there has been much debate in the scientific world around the question about whether UFOs exist or signify the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations. However, unlike many representatives of the classical sciences, such as math, physics, or biology, neither of the scientists studying the UFO phenomenon has ever made a clear statement about their extraterrestrial origin. If someone did and proved it, he or she would, probably, excite the world with the news. However, none of the scientific world representatives has confirmed or proved the belief of many earth dwellers.

The Famous Roswell UFO - Were There Aliens?

In 1947 a farmer found some metal object on his land in Roswell, New Mexico. The army issued a press release stating they had found a ‘flying disk’. However, after the object had been moved for Fort Worth in Texas, this claim was withdrawn – the officials confirmed it was “the remains of a downed balloon with a metallic radar reflector attached, and not a UFO” (CUFOS, 1997-2004). Therefore, scientists are not the only ones to question the extraterrestrial origin of UFOs. Neither the government nor the army makes any clear statements to confirm that UFOs are aliens’ vehicles.

So, while many people all over the world claim they have seen an UFO and believe in the existence of extraterrestrial civilization, no one has even presented some real physical evidence. Therefore, UFOs are just exactly what they are called – flying object that are unidentified by the people who see them. There is no physical proof of UFOs’ being from outside the earth. Both science and army do not support the idea that UFOs are the vehicles of aliens. Hence, in no way UFOs can be considered a definite sign of the aliens’ presence on earth. They are, in many cases, military aircraft, whether phenomena or lens flares.
